The second virtual public workshop focused on gathering ideas for strategies that Lake Ontario shoreline communities in Cayuga and Oswego Counties could implement to adapt to fluctuating water levels within Lake Ontario to promote overall resiliency within the region. The September 22nd workshop gave community members an additional opportunity to engage with and learn more about the NYS Department of State CLEAR initiative. The outcome of this initiative will be a CLEAR Plan to guide the development of more resilient communities through specific strategies and projects that can protect property, natural areas, and infrastructure.
